Hello!!!!
This blog is basically about anything that is related to anime and manga. Hopefully you will start to enjoy anime and manga as I have. I will be posting info on the latest anime and manga out there. First of all for those who don't know what anime and manga is; anime is a Japanese style of motion-picture animation and manga is a Japanese type of comic book or a graphic novel .
Looks really cool :) Looking forward to it.

DeleteThis brings back memories from Art class back in high school. We watched Akira, which was one of the first anime to hit US shores and significantly change the anime scene. This is what I have read and what we were told. Do you agree with this or am I way off? I also remember my brother also watching RoboTech, the Macross Saga. If I remember right, that was also considered early anime. It has been a while since I have seen any, so I will be interested to see what you post. I am sure it has well surpassed what I remember and may have completely changed.
ReplyDeleteThere many people saying that the first anime to hit the US was either Panda & the Magic Serpent, Mittsu no hanashi(Three tales), or Astro boy which were aired in the 1960s so I'm not really sure as to what was the first anime to hit the US but I can say that Akira which was aired around the 80s was not the first anime to hit the us. While I do agree that Akira significantly changed the anime scene. It is widely considered to be a landmark in Japanese animation and as one of the greatest anime movies to ever be released. Also it is credited for increasing the popularity of Japanese anime worldwide especially in the west.
